Biotin Hoof Mixture is a concentrated feed supplement designed to support healthy hoof growth. Biotin, a water-soluble B vitamin, plays a key role in hoof formation, and deficiencies may lead to cracked, brittle, soft hooves or reduced hoof growth.
The formula includes biotin in an effective daily dose, along with organically bound zinc, brewer’s yeast, fermented cereals, and sulphur-containing amino acids to support hoof strength and structure.
B vitamins are normally produced in the horse’s hindgut; however, poor forage quality, low fibre intake, or unbalanced diets can disturb gut flora and reduce natural biotin synthesis.
Signs of deficiency may include poor hoof quality, slow growth, skin issues, muscle tension, nervousness, and reduced performance.
