About this product
This highly diverse formula supports metabolism and digestion while being easy to prepare, making it an ideal addition to the feeding plan during rest days, coat changes, periods of increased workload, or stress. Traditionally used after exertion, during recovery, or to help prevent digestive issues, mash is well accepted and suitable as a first meal after colic, operations, or in cases of reduced appetite and chewing difficulties.
Irish Mash® is based on the traditional combination of wheat bran and linseed, further developed with modern nutritional knowledge. Gently processed linseed allows quick preparation without cooking. Its low starch content, easily digestible cereals, coriander, and brewer’s yeast support digestive function and intestinal balance. It may improve feed efficiency in hard-keeping horses, support weight gain, and aid recovery after competitions, breeding, and foaling. It is particularly beneficial during coat change.
